First United Waterloo is searching for an ordered Minister of Worship and Pastoral Care for appointment or call to a part-time (30 hours/week for 35 weeks from September to May) position to work in a team with the full-time Minister of Faith Formation and Development to help us live our mission statement “Building relationships, living God’s transforming love”. The Minister of Worship and Pastoral Care will lead worship services 3 out of 4 Sundays. We honour being a faith presence in an urban ministry for 130 years in UpTown Waterloo and look forward to finding new ways to reach out to the community. We celebrate: Sunday Worship, our committed volunteers, our music programs, our children’s church Godly Play program, pastoral care, Conversations that Matter, and our outreach. The successful candidate will help seek ways to attract more young families and youth looking for a place to worship.
